Michael Moores New Film "SICKO"

Those that have medical insurance and are living the American Dream are the ones that need to watch this film.

I was waiting for this film and the wait was worth it. I have to give Moore a great big thumbs up for this film. Yes, you will hear the good and the bad with this film, but lets stick to the facts. People are dying!

We need more people to wake up to the fact that to many people are going bankrupt, and losing everything they have ever worked for because of our so called "peace of mind payments" each week/month. Those that have worked all their lives, raised multiple children, put them through college and its time for them to retire. They get sick, and lose everything due to medical deductibles. Is this fair? Multiple heart attacks and cancer with medical insurance that the deductibles and copays caused them to go bankrupt. Is this right? They had to say goodbye to their family home because of medical bills. Is that the American Dream?

The film starts off with a man that had an accident with a table saw. Sadly he sawed off the tips of his two fingers and he didn't have insurance. He was told his middle finger tip would cost $60,000.00 or reattach the ring finger for $12,000.00. How is one finger more then the other? I would like to think that they could have put both fingers on for under $20,000.00? Sadly this story ends with the middle finger going into the garbage!

What about the TV Commercials that state
"Everyone American deserves insurance/medical care"
Yeah right.

Then we have those men over 75 yrs old that worked all their lives, but yet still cannot afford to retire because they cannot afford their overpriced medications. Medications that are freely priced by the drug companies because our governments give them the right to set their own prices. Could you imagine being in pain and having to pay $215.00 for pain killers!!!

Medications that are over prescribed and a patient believes it is something they need to stay healthy when it isn't always true. They believe their Dr's and spend all their monthly income on a prescription(s). What has happened to the "Golden Years" these people worked hard and saved up for all their lives?

Here is one story that shocked me. A young woman was in a car collision that knocks her out. An ambulance arrives, and takes her to the Emergency room. She is now home, and her mail comes. She opens her mail to find a bill stating that they will not cover her ambulance ride due to the fact that she did NOT get prior approval to have this emergency ride. How could she get approval when she was out cold? She could not fight this issue anymore as the insurance company would not work with her. This is one of the biggest medical coverage Corps in the world that did and still continues to do this. Will she have to hire a lawyer and pay even more? What a shame!

To Fat? To Skinny? You're DENIED!
You can and will be denied medical coverage if you are overweight or underweight. Example a man that is 6 ft tall at 130 pounds he is TO THIN. A woman had a BMI to high for a woman at the height 5' 1" tall at 175lbs. DENIED. Neither one of those people were over 50 yrs old. My opinion is they were under 25 yrs old.
Are they saying that if my child was ten years old and weighed 120 lbs they cannot insure her? What is wrong with this?

You Must Fight!
A father explains that his very young daughter is going deaf and the health insurance company Cigna would only cover one implant for one ear only. They said it was experimental to have two implants. How can it be experimental if it works for one ear? I am very proud that this father contacted Cigna and asked them if they know of Michael Moore and if they (Cigna) have ever been in a documentary before (LOL).
It was amazing what that letter accomplished. This time the father did get a reply via phone by a head honcho at Cigna, and the message stated that Cigna has overturned their denial decision and will allow both implants. Hmmm strange indeed. Do you think they were afraid of Moores documentary?

The Evil Behind The Insurance Companies Walls
Have you ever worked or currently work within the medical insurance industry? Do you you know the evil things that are going on behind the scenes. Let's talk about the call centers for a moment. These call centers already know the medical conditions that will get you denied while they are taking your application. These workers are supplied with a very long list of medical conditions which would wrap around a house. This list contains conditions that will get you denied. These workers cannot tell the callers that they will not get approved or denied, when they already know they will be denied simply because they have the list right there in front of them. This puts a lot of these workers under major stress. I know I could not handle a job like that simply because its mean. To hear the hope in these peoples voices that they will finally get medical insurance, and knowing all along that they will be denied. What a horrible situation to be in.


You pay into your medical and you get the care to find out your diagnoses. Insurance companies will deny IV drugs even if thats the only type of medication/treatment you need. Tumors of the brain are considered NON life threatening.

Uterine cancer of a 22 yr old was denied treatment because she was to young to get cancer. That woman eventually died due to the cancer spreading to her brain. SHAME ON YOU MR INSURANCE COMPANY!

Medical Dr's that review medical requests naturally never really see these forms and never sign the denial letters. These cases are supposed to be reviewed by a medical professional. How can this be if they are not even signing these denial letters. They have a secretary that uses a stamp! Medical reviewers are trained to save the company money so denial, denial and more denials is the way to the bank for them. They get a bonus if they can get a hospice case denied!!! It is a savings to the company!!

The intent is to maximize profits.
If they cannot weed you out during the denial process they use a hit-man to get the companies money back. He looks for slip-ups on your application or within your medical records for the last five years. If they find out you had a fingernail removed and you didn't disclose it they will make you pay them back.

One situation BCBS approved one womans operation, and of course she had her operation. This woman went on with her life so happy she had her operation until one day the mailman delivered her a bill! This woman slipped through the cracks and got surgery that they did NOT want her to have. So they send out their hired team of investigators to help get their money back. They went through this womans medical records and could not really find any hard evidence, but they did find something. They found this woman once had a yeast infection, and according to them she refused to list it on her application so they built their case around the fact that she has LIED to them. With this incredible new evidence they now will file a lawsuit so that she must pay back all of the costs of that surgery and more. This is crazy because you only have to disclose major/serious conditions. A yeast infection is NOT a major condition. However, but because the Medical insurance group was going to have to spend money they didn't mean to spend they went after this womans big bad lethal yeast infection (stunned.) This is America?

A very sad case is of a 35 yr old man that needed a bone marrow transplant. The insurance co said it was experimental and they denied it. They family did try to fight, but the man died a few months later while the family battled the insurance companies.

Your Life Is In The Wrong Hands!

A former medical reviewer went to a managed health care quality standards meeting and she made a public confession. In a very upset tone, but firm she stated that in the spring of 1997 she denied a man a necessary operation which would have saved his life. She denied this man as she was instructed to do as it would save the company $500,000.00, and with her doing this it would assure her title and give her a six figure income. Her choice to testify was due to the pain of quilt. BRAVO to her for coming out, but shame on her for doing it in the first place!!

9-11 Heroes Are Left To Die!

Moore tells us how three terrorists living on American soil at a Guatemala prison have the best medical facility there is to offer, and their care is free. Moore loads up three boats and head over to Guatemala Bay to seek free medical help for these American heroes. Of course they are not invited in, and Moore has to take these sick heroes to Cuba. Would you believe these heroes received a warm welcome and were giving the best medical care that Cuba had to offer them for FREE! One hero needs to have a certain lung medication due to complications from 9-11, and here in the states she must pay $120.00 for this one medication every month. Over in Cuba she only had to pay 5 cents. What is wrong here? I am so upset as to how Cuba can have a better medical system then the richest country in the world? Please, if anyone can help us Americans ... will you?

This film goes on about the National Health Service (NHS) that is available to all citizens of Canada, England, and France. It shows Americans that the horrors you hear of the NHS is very small to the truth. The truth being a National Health Service for all Americans could save lives, and help prevent medical bill bankruptcy.

Did you know that if you are in a hospital in England and you see a "Cashier" sign, it is not meant for paying your hospital bills. That is a window you visit to GET CASH! Yes, they will pay you back for your transportation costs. This is available to those that have a limited income, but still where do you see that in the USA? Amazing isn't it!

I for one believe in UFOs. Whether they are Terrestrial (made on earth) or they are Extra Terrestrial (not from earth) I do not know. I will say yes that more then 50% of sightings are secret aircraft that our military are building. Not many know that the Military is usually 20 yrs ahead of the technology we "the public" know of. Actually lets say we are more advanced and moving faster and faster these days. Today I would say they are 50 yrs ahead of the public technology.

So, what do you think? Would our government just put something so top secret out into the public eye before any public information release? I personally do NOT think so. Do you believe? I'm just curious to see what others think as over 80% of the public believe we are being visited (most will not voice their views as they fear mocking.) I do not mock anyone for expanding beyond what your school books tell you. I could care less what you think of me for having an open mind. I do believe there is more out there. I have spoken to others privately about this. I am surprised to hear that so many agree OR on their own opinion state there was or very well could have been human life on Mars. A celestial event could have caused the death of the planet. Some say they had the technology for a few to leave and come here. Think about that for a moment. Science basically tells us we came from a ROCK! What do you think is more logical?

There is more. Yes, I know I'm going on, but these things fascinate me and I never talk out in the open about them. Well today I am. There is a man named John Lear (He is the son of aviation pioneer, inventor and founder of the Lear Jet Corporation, Bill Lear.) John Lear is the most highly decorated pilot of his time. John Lear, now retired from flying, amassed over 19,000 hours of flight time, and has flown in over 100 different types of airplanes in 60 different countries around the world. He flew both commercially and in missions worldwide for the CIA. John Lear is the only pilot to hold every airman certificate issued by the FAA, and has held many world records.

He has done more then just little diddy jobs for the CIA (no doubt.) John has made it public knowledge that there are even structures on the Moon. He says we are up there now mining the moon for old technology and Helium 3. I have viewed debates that John has had on a few of his theories, and he always stands tall and strong and never backs down.

He says the Moon has a breathable atmosphere. Meaning you could breath up there, but you couldn't be up there without oxygen for long. This is something he says NASA doesn't want to let anyone know just yet. I do not know and I cannot even begin to make an opinion of this yet. As for the mining on the moon... I've seen these pictures and some are very impressive.

New Super Earth Like Planet Found Outside Our So­lar Sys­tem

Earth-like planet has been discovered



The headlines are reading "For the first time in history, an Earth-like planet has been discovered orbiting a distant star." It is relatively nearby at 120 trillion miles away. It closely orbits a "red dwarf," and is much smaller, cooler and dimmer than our sun. This one is 5 times the mass of earth hence the name "Super Earth." They say it is orbiting the red dwarf star called Gliese 581.

This is one amazing discovery and a major historical moment in time. Today As­tro­no­mers have re­ported dis­co­v­er­ing the most Earth-like plan­et out­side our So­lar Sys­tem to date. A world that may have liq­uid oceans and life. They say the planet is just the right size, and that it might have water in liquid form.

Oth­er cu­ri­ous fea­tures of the new­found plan­et are that ; and its year is just 13 Earth days long, as it comp­letes one or­bit about its sun in that time.

Scientists have said that due to its great­er width this planet is es­ti­mat­ed to weigh as much as five Earths, and has more than twice Earth’s sur­face ar­ea. They have also said that the grav­i­ty at its sur­face would be around twice as strong as it is on Earth. It could very well host life and several kinds.

The planet was discovered by the European Southern Observatory's telescope in La Silla, Chile, which has a special instrument that splits light to find wobbles in different wave lengths. Those wobbles can reveal the existence of other worlds.

What they revealed is a planet circling the red dwarf star, Gliese 581. Red dwarfs are low-energy, tiny stars that give off dim red light and last longer than stars like our sun. Until a few years ago, astronomers didn't consider these stars as possible hosts of planets that might sustain life.

They have said that the av­er­age tem­pe­r­a­tures on this “supe­r-Earth” must lie be­tween 0 and 40 de­grees Cel­si­us (32 to 104 de­grees Fahren­heit), and models pre­dict that the plan­et should be ei­ther rock­y—like our Earth—or cov­ered with oceans.

I for one will follow this closely. Some have already said that is could be a pre-release to prepare us here on earth for new amazing things that they (our government) already know about. STAY TUNED!

I just came across a news thread that mentions a Albert Einstein comment.

Albert Einstein warned humankind of two approaching apocalypses: one was nuclear annihilation and the other involved bees. He said:"If the bee disappeared off the surface of the globe then man would only have four years of life left

Wow, I have never read this comment of Albert Einsteins. Add the four years to todays date and we are close to the Mayan date of 2011-2012. This is frightening!

I know there has been several alerts of pending doom and many have prepared only to watch the time pass by without any gloom. The bluff has been called out so many times, but is this the real one we should prepare for?

Lets say 90% of the bees do die. What about the butterfly? What about Hummingbirds? I know they cannot carry the full load to fill in what the bees have done for pollination, but could it carry us until we come up with a solution?

How can I say it is just coincidence? I simply wont because to many prophecies seem to be coming together. The many Apocalyptic predictions along with NASA predictions send chills up my spin. NASA predicts that the sun will reverse its own magnetic poles during 2012 reaching the end of an 11-year sunspot cycle. Will this weaken the magnetic field on earth, and allow harmful particles enter earth's atmosphere? Some say yes it is very likely.

Apocalyptic predictions seem to be falling into place so perfectly and I think it is important that non believers consider all the research that went into many of these prophecies to either prove or disprove them. Below is a list of information that I recommend.

• The 1995 book The Mayan Prophecies linked the Maya calendar with long-period sunspot cycles.
• The book 2012:Mayan Year of Destiny claims the Maya may have been instructed in their wisdom by discarnate entities from Orion and the Pleiades. Contact was maintained through shamanic rituals conducted in accordance with the movements of planets and stars.
• The 1997 book The Bible Code claims that, according to certain algorithms of the Bible code, a meteor, asteroid or comet will collide with the Earth.
• The book The Nostradamus Code speaks of a series of natural disasters caused by a comet (possibly as above) which will allow the third anti-christ to disperse his troops around the globe under the guise of aid in preparation for a possible nuclear war, although in the strictest sense it is unspecific as to nuclear war or some other natural or man caused destruction.
• The book The Orion Prophecy claims that the Earth's magnetic field will reverse.
• The 2005 book Beyond 2012: Catastrophe or Ecstasy by Geoff Stray reviews several theories, prophecies and predictions concerning 2012 and finds where authors have used faulty information or have bent the truth to fit their theories.
• The 2006 book 2012: The Return of Quetzalcoatl by Daniel Pinchbeck discusses theories of a possible global awakening to psychic connection by the year 2012, creating a Noosphere. It also discusses many other aspects of the 2012 phenomenon from a neutral perspective.

Other prophecies and apocalyptic writings and hypotheses for this year include:

• Terence McKenna's mathematical novelty theory suggests a point of singularity in which a great number of things could happen, including "hyperspatial breakthrough", planetesimal impact, alien contact, historical metamorphosis, metamorphosis of natural law, solar explosion, quasar ignition at the galactic core, or nothing. Al Gore Hypocrisy? Propaganda? Conspiracy?

But What About You?



First: Yes, I believe the human race played a role in our Earths health, and I also believe it is just part of our natural cycle. I do not pick sides here because I believe both sides are true.

Some say that Al Gores documentary is just pure propaganda. I personally do not believe that is a propaganda conspiracy. I do believe it is simply "his side of the story." Al Gore has been accused of energy hypocrisy, and maybe he is not as bad as the media makes him out to be. I also think he is 100% committed the the cause, but not 100% prepared for the media hounds. (not yet)...


What have you done to help with cleaning up/preserve our environment?
You might recycle, and you may have bought an electric car. You might be using solar heating along with planting trees. What about taking a step further and start spending even more of your earned income on becoming more active such as in community events and/or work with local scientists to come up with better solutions for your home or community? How about the added expense of using the substitute Green Energy? My point is that its not as easy as some of these finger pointers make it out to be.

How innocent are we? Lets look at wind powered energy. The fact is at the end of 2006, worldwide capacity of wind-powered generators was 74,223 megawatts although it currently produces less than 1% of world-wide electricity use. If we were innocent that percentage would higher. It is basically non-existent!

Most can fib and get away with it. Al Gore simply cannot get away with it due to the fact his public and private life is being reviewed daily by thousands of reporters across the world. So we have to ask ourselves is he a full blown hypocrite? I am not going to be quick and point a finger just yet. Why? because he has done more then I have! I cannot sit here and be a hypocrite myself.

The media reports that Al Gore consumes more electricity every month than the average American household uses in an entire year. Yes, Gore paid nearly $30,000 in combined electricity and natural gas bills for his estate in 2006, but who is to say that the report is not missing any details to purposely start media fire or cater to a specific agenda.

What some may not be reporting is that he actually pays a bit more because he does subset his energy costs with green power. As of recently he reports that he is going 100% green power by installing solar panels, and using compact fluorescent bulbs and other energy saving technology. My personal opinion is that this should have been put in place prior to his documentary release to have prevented the whistle blowing event. Some are saying it was due to the availability of the resources.

I will have to agree that his lavish lifestyle does have a much more negative effect on our environment, and I am not denying that. He does use large cars, and he flies frequently. What I am doing is questioning our quickness to point fingers when we ourselves are not doing as much as he is or has been doing.

He asks us to reduce our energy footprints, but there's only a finite amount of alternative energy available to us, and many cannot afford to take a bigger step of installing solar panels or buying an electric car.

I am not a serious Al Gore supporter, but what I am saying is that he has done a hell of a lot more then most people that will read this and at least works with those that are working on solutions. He is an important voice out there while we sit in our homes nice and cool or warm during the cold and hot seasons.

As for Al Gores own personal usage. I only know what I read and what the media reports. What I can consider is that both him and his wife WORK and LIVE inside their large home. This includes added usage from employees and office systems along with daily life usage. If you were running a 4,000 square foot building as a home and with office buildings I am almost certain your usage would be even more then what his is. Media reports that he has and still is putting green energy into action within his home and business. Therefore, he may actually be using LESS energy, cumulatively.

I find the mystery behind the Mayan Calendar fascinating. Some friends of mine had great interest in it so I wanted to find a way to explain it to them as "I" feel it to be...

Here is how it was explained to me:

December 21st, 2012 - Modern astronomy can tell us a lot about the facts of where we will be in space at that time, where our planets will be, etc. The thing is that the ancient Mayans, Sumerians and the Egyptians knew about this long ago, and left their art recordings behind for us.

What do we know about this date? Well, we know that on that date, our the bodies in our solar system will all be in alignment. The Transit of Venus will occur once again due to Venus passing in front of the Sun. Our Sun will also be in the peak of its solar cycle, causing some groups to speculate that the magnetic poles of our Earth and possibly other planets could be shifted or reversed altogether.

Besides all this activity occurring in our Solar System, the solar system itself will be in perfect alignment with the elliptical plane of our Milky Way galaxy. It will be the first time this has occurred in gazillions of years.

Also, the area of space that our solar system will occupy at that time will be in the middle of a strange nebulous cloud that scientists have been studying and tracking for a few years now. We do not have a clear understanding of what the clouds effects could be on our Solar System and the Earth itself.

1) Our sun will be at the peak of a Solar hissy fit.
2) Our planets will be in alignment.
3) Our entire Solar System will be aligned with the elliptical plane of the galaxy.
4) We will be in the middle of a strange nebula.

Take this modern astronomical knowledge, and apply it to the ancient legends of our ancestors. The Mayans refereed to this period as the "Cycle of Civilization." They even accurately predicted these alignments to the date, thousands of years ago. And they chose to end their calender on this date. Not to restart it, but to END it.

No one can know for sure what will happen during the strange times of late 2012, but as the date draws nearer, we are certain to learn more.

TODAY IS A GREAT DAY FOR UFOLOGY!

France opens secret UFO files covering 50 years

Today France made a bold move by becoming the first country in the world to make its official UFO files available to the public. The National Space Agency noted a web site documenting more then 1,600 sightings over the past fifty years.

The online database of cases will be updated with every new case that is reported which will include catalogs of all cases and their level of importance.

I'm truly excited about this as it is a great hurdle in ufology history. UFO phenomena interests have risen over the years and over 50% of the worlds population believe we are being visited. However believers feel the governments are covering up the truth and or they feel the truth is deemed to sensitive and alarming for the public to handle.

There has been many sightings across France. Some cases you may have read about...

On January 8, 1981 outside the town of Trans-en-Provence in southern France, for example, a man working in a field reported hearing a strange whistling sound and seeing a saucer-like object about 2.5 meters (eight feet) in diameter land in his field about 50 meters (yards) away.

A dull-zinc gray, the saucer took off, he told police, almost immediately, leaving burn marks. Investigators took photos, and then collected and analyzed samples, and to this day no satisfactory explanation has been made.

The nearly 1,000 witness who said they saw flashing lights in the sky on November 5, 1990, by contrast, had simply seen a rocket fragment falling back into earth's atmosphere.

Many are eager to view the data on the sightings listed as credible, but it has been said that "ufologists will not find any scoops or unknown cases in this database." I think that is just a bunch of hogwash!

The archives are available at http://www.cnes-geipan.fr/geipan/ and currently contain 400 files, about one fourth of the approximately 1,600 UFO sightings reported in France since the 1950s.

All of the files are scheduled to be online by the end of the year.

UFO NASA Tether Incident

The NASA STS-75 mission ran a trial experimental tether that was to be used for towing and placing satellites into orbit. During this experiment they had a problem and the 12 mile long tether snapped due to the synthetic material accumulating a critical charge.

The shuttles cameras monitored the tether and its 100 million dollar satellite it was towing just drift away. This was all video taped live, and what was captured on this video is absolutely incredible. NASA claims the objects in the footage are ice particles very close to the camera and area passing in front of the far away tether.

There has been several debates about this footage. Some say it is Airy Disks, others say it is Ice Particles, and others say it is UFO's. I myself was very curious so I searched for some information on Google, and came across a detailed analysis made by David Sereda. He provides a two part video that I found to be very informative.

To truly understand his theories you must watch the full analysis. Please do not try to debate his analysis or this incident unless you have completely reviewed his videos. I myself have considered both Davids, and the skeptics theories on the Tether Incident, and each side truly believes their accurate. I will leave what I believe set to limbo nor does this mean I agree or disagree with David.

I personally admire David Sereda. He is a sincere smart good looking man, and I trust his opinions.
